Tracy Moon BSc (Hons) MCSP, HCPC, Chartered Physiotherapist, Fully certified APPI Pilates Instructor, Associate Dance Teacher BATD

Tracy’s interest in the human body and movement started at a young age through her love of dance.  She danced competitively throughout her childhood and completed her professional qualifications, becoming an associate dance teacher and continuing to teach children and adults of all ages in the disciplines of ballet, tap and modern dance for many years.

During her young dance career, Tracy encountered a back injury and used the principles of Pilates to aid in her recovery.  This was where her enthusiasm for rehabilitation started and when she decided a career in Physiotherapy would be the right path for her.

After graduating from the University of Nottingham as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2007, she came back to Eastbourne to start her career and explored the vast variety of specialities that Physiotherapy could offer within the NHS.  Rehabilitation and neurology were areas of particular interest to her and she has now specialised as an Acute Stroke Physiotherapy Team Leader in Eastbourne DGH, where she works part time.

Alongside her varied Physiotherapy career, Tracy was keen to pursue her passion for Pilates and underwent her training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute), gaining her full matwork certification in 2010.  Since then, she has been teaching Pilates in various settings, and while pregnant with her first child, also developed a special interest in teaching pregnancy and post-natal Pilates.

Tracy’s passions for dance and rehabilitation can often be seen through her flowing Pilates classes which adapt to suit her clients needs, while still focussing on posture, alignment and freedom of movement.

Tracy teaches Pilates classes at the studio on Monday evenings & Thursday daytime, to book click below:

Nicole - Yoga and Meditation teacher and trainer

Nicole is an experienced yoga teacher and trainer. She qualified as a Sivananda yoga teacher in 2005 at the Dhanwanthari Ashram in Southern India, and she also has a BA (Hons) degree and is qualified as as a Psychosynthesis counsellor. She currently offers a wide range of sessions and classes which include yoga, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation practices, both in person and online. Her passion is making the mental and physical health benefits of yoga accessible to everyone by tailoring her sessions to suit all ages and mobilities.

Although inspired by many different yoga ‘schools’ and traditions over the years, Nicole finds her own practice and her classes most influenced by the work of the late Vanda Scaravelli. This style of yoga involves meditative movement and is a gentle yet powerful form of Hatha yoga that uses gravity and breath to release the spine and energise the body. It restores and maintains natural movement in the whole body, focusing on our natural patterns of movement to bring harmony and ease to our postures.

Breathwork practices are a key aspect to all her classes, and this comes from her extensive research, training and experience in this area.

Her love of meditation and of being a meditation teacher comes from her experience of a wide variety of meditation techniques as well as, most importantly, the difference a regular practice makes to her life.  She runs online meditation groups, and teaches the ”Meditation and the Mind" module for the Apanaveda School of Yoga teacher training courses.

She is a freelance teacher/trainer for the Wellbody, Wellmind, Wellbeing Charity, and runs programmes and workshops to create healthy habits in body and mind.
Nicole teaches at two Scaravelli yoga classes at the studio on Tuesday evenings; 5pm & 6.30pm.
